Memorial to the Great War – Vet Nursing building, Albany Street

The Memorial to the Great war, located outside the Vet Nursing Building on Albany street reads:

These men gave their lives in the Great War: 1914 – 1917. Faithful unto death.

The men whose names are inscribed hereon were ex-pupils of the Albany Street School, which was situated opposite this building from 1874 to 1933.
