There is a strong demand nationally and internationally for people who can veneer houses in stone and build stone features, and we can help you become a specialist in this field. National Certificate in Motor Industry (Entry Skills) (Level 2)

This Youth Guarantee programme is available to 16-19 year olds who have been thinking about leaving school or who have left school and are not sure how to enter higher education or employment. Get the practical skills you need to advance into Level 3 and 4 apprenticeship-based qualifications. You will complete 160 hours of work experience and undertake a lot of hands-on learning in our on-site automotive workshop.

National Certificate in Motor Industry (Foundation Skills) (Level 1)

Gain the foundation skills and knowledge required for further training in the motor industry. This programme is only available to Year 11-13 Otago secondary school students through the Otago Secondary Tertiary College.

This programme offers you the chance to improve your study skills and prepare for higher level learning. It includes either a general study context or a work context. Depending on the course you choose, this programme offers work experience opportunities.

Ideal if you're a bicycle service technician and want to gain further skills and knowledge. Graduates will be able to work in roles such as bicycle mechanics or team mechanics or you may choose to move into self-employment in the bicylce industry.
