Otago Polytechnic Women in Engineering Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognise that women in New Zealand are under-represented in the Engineering Technology industry, particularly in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and civil engineering. Women represent less than 25% of the engineering graduates nationally. This scholarship is intended to assist a female student studying at Otago Polytechnic who shows ability and character to succeed in the field of engineering technology.

This scholarship will contribute $1,000 towards programme fees for every year of study in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology, New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (CivilMechanical or Electrical), or the New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Level 6) (Construction Management) or (Quantity Surveying). Applications close in February of each year. Email adrian.tetlow@op.ac.nz (Learning Leader, Engineering Technology) for more information.
