Odette Callanan - Artworks, Dunedin Art School

Odette Callanan worked at Otago Polytechnic as a lecturer across both Art and Design (in the Bachelor of Design (Fashion)) from 2002 to 2008. She completed her Master of Fine Arts at OP in 2004 and these works were part of her Masters show. Her thesis was titled 'Waving to Blanchot: one cut after the other’. Upon her death in 2008 her family kindly donated these works to the Dunedin School of Art. Two of the artworks can be found on the ground floor of P block in the hallway between the lecture room and gallery. A third artwork can be found in the School of Design open space on Level 4 of H Block.
